The following contract is for a male/female miniature Dachshund puppy. The said puppy is non, full AKC, Limited AKC, or CKC registerable ( the correct registration will be circled ). The color and pattern of the said puppy is as stated: _(color)_. The puppy stated was born on _(date)_ with _(name)_ as the Dame and _(name)_ as the Sire. The stated price of said puppy is _(dollar amount)_ with a $100.00/$200.00 non-refundable deposit placed on __ which will be put toward the total price of the puppy when paid in full.

             The said puppy was examined by a licensed veterinarian on _(date)_ and at the time of the exam was found to be in good health and to the best of my knowledge remains in good health at the time of sale. The said puppy is also guaranteed to be free of life threatening genetic disorders for one year. ( BREEDER ASSUMES NO RESPONSIBILITY WITH OTHER MEDICAL BILLS INCURRED ONCE THE PUPPY LEAVES THE PREMISES ) It is the buyer's responsibility to have the puppy examined be his/her choice of a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of purchase in order for this Contract to be binding. If, at the time of the exam, your licensed veterinarian finds the puppy to have a life threatening genetic disorder which affects the puppies' ability to function as a pet, you may return the said puppy to me with a written and signed statement be your licensed veterinarian with 48 hours of the exam for for a refund of the purchased price, minus the $100.00 deposit or a replacement puppy of equal value as soon as one is available. ( Puppy and all papersincludingb vet statement must be returned in the stated 48 hour time period. )

              If the situation ever arises that the said puppy needs to be placed in a new home, I, the breeder, will take the puppy back and find it a new home. It will be the buyer's responsibility to get the puppy back to me at the buyer's cost ( including air fees and health certificate if the puppy has to be shipped back ). At that time, I, the breeder, will find the pup a new home and send the buyer any funds made from the sale of the puppy, minus any ad fees or vet costs that may occur in order to find the puppy a new home. NOTE: Older puppies/dogs don't always sale for as much as originally priced. If it ever arrives that the said puppy needs a new home at no cost, I will also take the puppy back. I never want my dogs placed in shelters or abandoned. They always have a home here.

              Puppy must be kept up to date on shots and on heart worm preventative at all times. If you are renting and do not own your own property, it is a must that I have a written statement from your landlord, stating pet policies and must be signed and dated by both you and the landlord before the puppy is released to you.

              The said puppy is being sold as a pet only and no guarantee is made by the breeder as to it's size or future breeding ability, unless otherwise stated in writing.
